Soil cleanup from petrochemicals
There has been developed a new method of soil cleanup from oil pollution with the use of domestic low-cost, non-toxic, efficient, environmentally friendly product Melafen. Melafen is efficient in extremely low concentrations and in terms of effectiveness of soil cleanup from oil pollution is comparable to, and in some cases superior to modern expensive imported drugs. The technical result of the invention is to encourage with the help of Melafen microorganisms-destructors as part of oil compounds found in the soil and thus to accelerate the destruction of oil pollution.
The following method of biological treatment of soil from oil pollution includes periodic treatment of contaminated soil with Melafen, wetting the soil, its loosening and mixing. The concentration of Melafen (1*10-6 g per 1 kg of soil) is added to the soil being cleaned at intervals of about every 10 days.
